![]() You'll struggle to find a guitar with superior pickups at this price-point! ![]() Pair that up with the nitro lacquer-finished Alder body, and you've got yourself an idiosyncratic instrument that punches well above its weight! Custom Shop 'Texas Special' Pickupsįender's US-wired Custom Shop Texas Special pickups are over-wound for increased output and made with alnico 5 magnets and enamel-coated magnet wire yielding great mid-range bite with crystalline highs, tight bass response and enhanced harmonics. The slim Telecaster headstock gives the instrument a radically different look to the standard Vintera Strat, making it perfect for players who prefer more unique electric guitars. Stylistically, the Fender Mischief Maker is in a league of its own. The vintage frets and 7.25" radius contribute to that classic touch and provide enough control under the fingers to allow for smooth vibrato and easy playability. The Mischief Maker's large "C" Tele neck provides a comfortable and familiar feel a feature that'll surely appeal to old-school guitar aficionados who prefer a more substantial and supportive shape. It doesn't end there either, as we've also upgraded the pickups to Fender Custom Shop 'Texas Special' single-coils wired in the USA! Hybrid Strat/Tele design The Custom Shop Mischief Maker was a "relic'd" guitar, so we opted to give our exclusive Vintera version the 'Road Worn' treatment - for that cool played-in look and feel. Heavily inspired by the Fender Custom Shop's small yet immensely popular run of marvellous Mischief Maker guitars from a few years back, we simply had to get in on the action and offer a more affordable alternative with all the "mojo" of the original run!īoasting a quirky design that consists of a '60s Strat body and '50s Tele neck, the Mischief Maker brings together the best of Fender's two most iconic guitar models. Unique, sleek and exclusive - the Vintera Road Worn "Mischief Maker" Stratocaster is the result of another incredible collaboration between Andertons and Fender.
